I have now have 300-400 printing plates for (mostly) US coins. I actually now have some history on them. The were made by Whitman Publishing in the 40s-60s and were used in the Redbook and Bluebook. This picture is of a large mail tub.

Please let US know when you do!I have an interest in combining coins with memorabilia.They make for nice conversation pieces !!!!!!!!!!and it creates great tie-ins for non collectors to see the story behind the coins.

Marty, Are you reversing the images you are showing us? I've never seen a coin printing plate. Are they a stamp type thing?

) so I will answer.....yes, I believe he is reversing them as he showed them in another post this past weekend and mentioned he was reversing them.
So, I think he is just taking it for granted now that people know he is reversing the images.

Yes I have been mirroring them, I'm going to start sorting and cataloging them tonight. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to sell them or what they are worth each. I haven't even picked up the rest of the darkside plates and the stamp plates yet. Like I said in the title, it's going to be a little while!

Some of the plates there are only one of, like the Morgan, there was one ONE set.
