Bo knows..... how to rip you off!

Check out this staple from 1990 - Bo Jackson

Sweet deal, huh? I think I'm going to list mine for $48.99 and under-cut his business! I'LL BE RICH!!!
I'm pretty sure, though, I won't be able to come off the $8 shipping fee... just wouldn't make enough off shipping if I can down from that.

Hey, seriously though... does anyone know where I too can get a hold of these phantom PSA 10 cases? I really need them for several of my cards.

  • Same old story- a non-card seller who thinks that "old baseball cards"="alot of money". I've noticed its quite normal for these types of people to think this.

I don't know-- he knows enough to put up scans of every corner, and apparently he's heard of PSA.

If anyone bites on this card I say we inform them that vintage cards are a better investment, and steer them over to 707's website. After paying fifty bucks for the Jackson card Levi's prices shouldn't phase them.
  • onefasttalon, I see you are a Sabo Fan. Being a reds fan myself, Sabo was one of my favorite players. I met him once, got him to sign a baseball for me. He seemed like kind of a quiet guy who didnt like the spotlight, But boy he sure could hustle. I may have to go through my closet and dig out some of my old Sabo cards.

  • After looking at the sellers instructions on the bottom part of the auction, they look to be a pawn shop. No wonder they have no idea the true value of this card. Maybe $1 at best.

I am an A's fan who hated Chris Sabo in the 1990 World Series when the Reds swept my A's.

  • I sent the guy an email and here is what I got back.

"we sold one of these a month ago for $275.21 that's a little more than a dollar last time I checked."

I told him that I will be reporting him for keyword spamming. I also said I see no proof that he sold one on Ebay in the last month for that amount and to please send me the auction number so I can be proven wrong.
    What an a** hat!

Tennessee... I may have to go through my closet and dig out some of my old Sabo cards.
That would be great! I'd love to hear about anything you find, and are interested in selling!

Ya, that must have sucked to get swept... just think of it as being the 1st place loosers!

Alright, first of all, everyone around me wants to know why I'm laughing so hard and have been for about 5 minutes after reading this BS. I sure hope you respond to him letting him know you'll (we'll ALL) sell these to him for $100 each.. hey, he'll make a KILLING if he can see them for $275 each! That's just good business!

I admit, I still have a decent BGS/PSA collection of Bo RC's... but haven't started in on my common-card graded Bo collection.
