All 3 of the top TPG companies have holdered AT coins. It would be useful to see yours before anyone makes a decision on AT/NT.

Get a free host like Photobucket. Then upload, copy, and paste. Couldn't be easier.

Sign up for a Photobucket account. Log in, then click on "account options". Make sure the option for "display img" is set to "yes".

Upload your pics to photobucket. Then go to your folder. Highlight the box next to the word "img" under the thumbnail of the image you want to post, then choose edit->copy or right click and choose copy.

Now click back to your message and choose edit->paste or right click and choose paste. Continue typing the rest of your message.

A coin in a PCGS holder means only that it appeared "market acceptable" at the time it was holdered. Nothing more, nothing less.

    NT.
  • Non issue. Your Morgan looks NT and is certainly "Market Acceptable".
  • NT. It's too ugly for AT. A Tone Doctor would dip it and have another go at something more "pretty."

If the coin is in a PCGS holder it is likely 99.9% marketable. Enjoy looking at how beautiful it is.image

Some of these coins tone after they have been slabbed, sometimes due to a poor rinse after dipping. Also, slabbed white coins have been known to have been ATed after being slabbed. Not sure how its done.

  • I didn't think slabs were air tight and isn't it stuff in the air like gasses and stuff and heat that tone coins? image

My dad found this site about toning that is really good. image

  • NT without a doubt in my mind.

I have owned and seen several Morgans like this. They can be pretty nice (in hand) depending on the luster.
