Registered on ebay January the 5th of this year, he was the winner of this auction, and despite a variety of ways to pay clearly stated at the listing, he kept insisting to give him my bank account details to send me a bank wire (supposedly).
No paypal account, no checks, no bidpay, no cash in a registered letter, my bank account details were the only option for him.
When I told him that for this kind of amount, we'd both be better off with Western Union ,he told me that WU no longer operates in South Africa due to fraud.
In the words of another Darksider whom I PMed on the subject for advice, I think the irony is rich.
I've just filed a NPB alert.He was the high bidder in one of Greg's auctions last week as well, a 1936 bluetoned British penny, but fortunately for Greg, he was outbid at the end.
