I cant beleive Steve sent me an E-mail this late wow ! ok here is what his reply was
Stephen, I haven't had complaints, but have had some people say there was some very strange collation! Many repeats with many of the same cards over and over. When I get to the office tomorrow I will look at a couple of boxes myself. If I find the same problem I will send you another box for free. Will contact you tomorrow. Thanks! Steve
I cant believe unopened stuff has gone up so much ! >>
I actually bought the 71 and the 73's off the same lady. She pulled out 5-10 cards and scanned them and then showed digi pics of the box and I saw the vending pattern on the packed full box. The 5-10 cards she showed were random and not stars so I took a chance. Also, she didn't put "vending" or "vendor" in the title. She had "box of 500 1971 football cards".
I got lucky. The 74 was from a different seller and I am not sure why that ended so low. That box was not great mainly because even the cards centered on the front, like the OJ, look miscut on the back.

That's why Steve is the man. He got back to me quickly every time I had a question for him. I had a 1977 wax box that I had a problem with and he definitely wanted to help. I eventually mailed the packs I opened back to him and he was straight up shocked at the condition of the cards. He is an honest guy and runs a great business. And his inventory is like crack for guys like us

Tennessee, you didn't get 1 all star card either? I just cracked a vending box last week and got 14 all stars along with a couple of Henderson's and Ryan's, and record breakers. Horribly off center and tilted, but not missing entirely!
Ouch, you either have the worst luck ever or the box was searched. Although, I know Steve wouldn't search it himself. He could have gotten it that way.
I, like others, don't see why anyone would search 81 vending. But it takes all kinds!
<< <i>Wow, now I am gonna have ta go and break out my 73's
BTW Steve has a 73 vending box for $1000 >>
Really. That is tempting. Maybe if my cards at PSA get graded well I will treat myself. Funny, for the grading fees I paid this go round I could have bought that box.

I agree. That is because his mouth is closed and he isn't showing his goofy smile and wretched grill. Hell of a QB but not exactly a looker.

Meanwhile, Mackey's meatchops are awesome. How did those ever go out of style. Now only Joe Dirt has meatchops.
