69-70 Basketball and 1965 Football the same size? ?

I was looking for a 1" screwdown for my 1965 Namath Rookie and found one that says it fits 69-70 Basketball, does this mean it will fit 1965 Football. I am pretty sure they are the same size, but I would like to be sure before I buy the brick and velvet case.

Yes they are supposed to be the exact same size. Unless they are miscut or trimmed they will be the same.

Why not get the Namath graded, then you'll have the perfect holder for it.

I think it looks better in a 1" brick with a deluxe velvet display box. It would only be a 4-5 anyways.
