Out of curiosity, for the three coins that did not crossover... do you think PCGS was justified?

  • I wasn't sure, I have to look at the coins again and I will let you know when the coins arrived.

    Interesting .....

Why spend the money to crossover if not to upgrade?

Did you crackout and submit raw or in the NGC/ANACS holders???

  • In my opinion these coins were a good candidate to crossover by one point. Since majority of my collections are in PCGS, I thought it will be nice to have it all in the same size. All coins were submitted for crossover in their respective holders.

I've only cracked out 2 coins in my life. Both were ANACS and upgraded by 1 point and 2 points respectively to NGC. They were clearly undergraded. I plan to crack out a few more this year. I would never submit for grading in original holder. I just don't like the idea that the TPG can see the competitors opinion (even if they claim they do not look at it).
