Just wanted to say congrats to you for putting together a top notch set ! High Desert has held this top position alone for many years and I am sure it too is a truly amazing set image Good luck to both of you!

    He could buy the 1965 Kennedy in the Heritage auction. Who knows if it is really a business strike though. It could be an sms and that'd be more cheating!

    I know about the kennedy image

    and am looking for 2 or 3 others..

    I am now working on 9 different type sets,so I have many slots to fill..

    Been working on my type sets for about 4 years,and it looks like it will take another 5 years to finish them all with "special" coins,

    I too have not seen HD post in a while. If he is like me he reads a few and posts less. He has collected some very nice coins and has given many a goal as well as causing many to dream "what would it be like to own all those neat coins" and of being in the #1 slot.

    Like the 1950-Present CS type set that I just noticed a couple days ago had a new set just added and was one coin away from completion. By looking at the GPA this set looked to be a new #1 set. I was looking at Larry's 20th type set just now and clicked on the button to show all his sets and realized this no name and hidden set titled "Modern Type Set" belongs to him. Congrats Larry!

    Thanks Guys,
    I am doing some modern coins for an education.
    I study coins about 6 hours a day, from the early 1800's to present.
    Tons of history to learn,and I want to catch up on what I have missed only dealing with a few different coins up until about 10 years ago.
