New to boards with a few wants

Hello all I am new to these boards but not so new to collecting coins. I am looking to start with a new silver want on the graded American eagle coins 1986 to date. Will take ungraded but really looking for MS 69 or proofs.
Thanks,
Bill

hey, watch out for differences in grading companies!
how do I say this without dissing NGC? hm.
those NGC coins you are looking at might not be a bargain bill!

the silver melt price and, the cost of the holder is what you are paying for. I suggest the pcgs or ngc PR69 graded coins. Proof coins are great for A nice collection. To look at or to pass down to your Grand kids..
come time to sell the NGC coins will be percieved as one grade lower on the SAE's which is BS in my opinion !
Buy PCGS as cheap as ya can.
Have a Great Day!

When it comes to modern proof silver Eagles or bullion UN Eagles.
I dont think that a few dollars either way would be an issue.
I think NGC may have the nack for modern coins with there white holders.

The BST Forum is fun . . . just tested the waters there myself last week and it's a nice place to search for wants.

Be careful.
There was a thread here a few days ago talking about them developing spots.

Now listen boy, I'm tryin' to teach you sumthin' . . . . that ain't no optical illusion, it only looks like an optical illusion.
My mind reader refuses to charge me....
Personally, I can't see the reason for buying graded bullion. That stuff is very common and no dealer will ever offer you more that bullion price for it no matter who graded it.
Every year I buy a silver eagle and I put it in a Capitol Plastics holder that I have mounted on a wall of mine. That way I can show off a nice coin collection and keep the rest in the deposit box.
To each his own though. The best thing about coin collecting is the many ways coins can be collected. Enjoy your hobby however it suits you.
Thats my take on it anyway.
