$40 to $50 for the 66CAM, $250 to $300 for the 66DCAM. In the case of the die variety of the second one, though, you can tack on another $100 or so in 66DCAM.

As a type collector I would not want the die variety with the bright spot in Kennedy's hair. The mark does nothing for me.

This just proves that pcgs is the most consistent tpg, and the only one worth talking about...... image

Just thought I'd bump this to note that the second coin - MS66CAM - is now in an MS66DCAM holder. image

    I suspect 2 things

    1 ,standards have changed ( DUH ! )

2, PCGS holds the Birthmark coin to a different standard.

Dont even talk to me about 41 S walkers !

Irregardless of the grades, I like the second coin best - more frost.

Nope, loosened. Maybe Marty should try cracking those NGC UCAMs.

I'm going to have to go (a little) against the grain here.
The second one appears to have clearer fields and the frost on the devices are brighter. But that being said, the obverse fields on the first one is darker (at least on my computer) giving a better contrast. JMHO.

Does anyone else see that or are my eyes really that bad?? LOL
    can't get enough!!!

    Congrats Russ
1 question- Was this only the second time you sent this one in before it got the DCAM bump or have you been trying and just hit it this time?

This particular coin was a one-shot. I bought it already graded MS66CAM and it upgraded to MS66DCAM using the $10 designation review service.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. image

That coin looks fairly graded now. Two bad it took two tries. image

What's the difference in value between the coin in 66CAM and 66DCAM?

    Have fun....Mike

Looks like the second one has an Oswald shot in the head (so sad).

I actually bought two MS66CAM Birtmark Dies that were from the same submission. The other is a later die state, though, and just a solid cameo. There was also an MS67CAM on that submission, but I didn't get that one.

Too small a sample to draw any conclusions. I believe the difference could be the same whether 20 months or 20 days apart.

True, sort of. It's true if one had only handled just these two examples. Then, of course, the sample would be far too small.
