Help with link, Ebay 8365056858. Wow great feedback and he lists this coin in the description as extra fine, it looks MS66+. Ok, who wants to bid first?
He cancelled the auction after I sent him a email stating my uncle was a FBI agent and if I didnt get that coin, he would be charged with wire fraude.null
Boy, you should read the response he sent me. I would not post it here in polite company. That was fun. What shall we do next?
<< <i>p.s The brownish color around the edges is only because of the camera, the coin isn't discolored at all. This is a truly beautiful flawless coin!! >>
Heaven forbid that this coin should be "discolored" like this after 116 years...

Aw, come on, post his delightful response.
That only adds to the fun.
"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose." My grandchildren. The heirs to my collection! (Just not to soon I hope)
I like this feedback, from a previous sale, of his. This auction should be interesting.
<< <i>ebayers beware this common thief took my money order allright never sent item F+ >>
Normally the feedback would say F- when the person doesn't ship the item
O'mgosh, does this mean I might get a dreaded NEG? As a buyer, I really couldn't care less.
<< <i>could someone fill me in on the story about this guy?
We don't know who he is, we just know that the coin in the auction could not possibly be his. That is a MS68, the picture was stolen.
If he replies (likely not) I will definitely post what he sends.
An then off the bastige to the bay cops.
