Speaking of coins we all used to own...

I bought this coin in March of last year from a private collection in Monterey when I was stationed there...it was in a NGC MS66 holder.

I thought the coin was a 67...tried and tried and tried to get it into a holder at both PCGS and NGC. Finally settled on a 66* holder and sold it.

Sitting in a 67 holder now...it must have magically gotten better.

So is that why some ANACS/NGC MS61's come back as PCGS AU58's or some PCGS MS62's (that previously were MS63's) come back as MS62's ?

(tongue in cheek) I would never have thought so !!!!! image
