Nick,
I guess you realize that the 3d is from New Zealand, not Great Britain.
I'm afraid to be alive without being aware of it
Last one, now I have all the £5 commemorative crowns in Specimen folders from the Royal Mint. Just looking for a few varieties that I don't have, yet.
/edit/ BTW, this is the 2002 Queen Mother's Memorial crown, celebrating the life (and passing) of Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.

Prussia Thaler, 1866-A, Victory over Austria
Prussia, er...hmmm, doesn't really look like Prussia; how'd that get in here, theboz11 ?
Oops! Edited to fix typos

I like that one. Not that they all aren't nice. But, that one really appeals to me.
Hmmm, might have to do a little book learnin' here.

Thanks for the comments on my coins as well. I was really happy to find the Indian pieces for the prices I paid. Yeah I think I noticed when I bought that 3d that it was from New Zealand, but mischaracterized it as being from Great Britain in rushing to put the links together. Thanks for the heads up though.
I like all British Empire issues, but unfortunately I have to stay away from most of the nice British homeland stuff simply because it is out of my price range.
And who is this Spinaker of which you speak????????
Spinaker it doesn't count you already posted it last week.
Spiny this is one of my favourite US early commems, very nice!
Nick, you seem to have bought some really nice British India coins and their price is unbeatable!
This is my favourite thread of the week, great coins!
I'm going to scan a few new purchases of mine and post them later tonight I hope.

Dimitri: MS65 yes, but not "RD" (it's Billon). I bought it from a friend who will (and does) slab anything & everything!
Thanks,
Thanks for the compliments all, Syracusian being the most recent. I was wondering when you might post your recent purchases Syracusian!
