    Nick,

I guess you realize that the 3d is from New Zealand, not Great Britain.

Last one, now I have all the £5 commemorative crowns in Specimen folders from the Royal Mint. Just looking for a few varieties that I don't have, yet.

/edit/ BTW, this is the 2002 Queen Mother's Memorial crown, celebrating the life (and passing) of Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.

I actually bought some Canadian Quarters today... they are on vacation at the moment and a German States (Brunswick W) 1855 2 taler that I like... not that rare but doesn't matter. I also found an 8 Reales 1810 HJ that looked nice.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

  • This is all that I got this week. It's a little dark...

    Nice purchases everyone!

Thanks for the comments on my coins as well. I was really happy to find the Indian pieces for the prices I paid. Yeah I think I noticed when I bought that 3d that it was from New Zealand, but mischaracterized it as being from Great Britain in rushing to put the links together. Thanks for the heads up though.

I like all British Empire issues, but unfortunately I have to stay away from most of the nice British homeland stuff simply because it is out of my price range.

And who is this Spinaker of which you speak???????? image

Dimitri: MS65 yes, but not "RD" (it's Billon). I bought it from a friend who will (and does) slab anything & everything! image
