Man, you guys are good! I knew everybody would get the coin and series number since they actually removed it recently. But, you also nailed the change in "Accented Hair". Here's the way it used to look:
I think the "AccentHair" is a screwup. The coin is one of two from a crossover submission that posted incorrectly as PR68 with no cameo designation. Shortly after I called, the submission details changed. I think they printed the labels in haste.
definitely a typo on the ACCENT Hair....it actually makes no sense without the PAST TENSE "ed" on the label thanks Russ....interesting that this gets overlooked in the processing of the coin at PCGS and clearly it was a data entry clerk's oversight and not the grader's.
in addition... nice coin... I cannot see the reverse but what kept it from 69 ?????
Do you think the sample slab group will gobble it up then, causing you to earn an Obscene Profit™?

You would think PCGS would have some standardized system for printing lables, but based on my experience it looks like someone just types them in on a keyboard so that the same variety may get printed one way one day, different the next, hyphens, spaces, no spaces, commas, all caps, no caps, etc.
I always thought the slab design and label could be done a while lot better and make for a better presentation. And keep in mind that I got an A- in marketing, so its not like I'm just some crank here in a chatroom killing time.
thanks Russ.... I did not know this, nor have I checked Pop Report prior to asking. But, I must say...when it comes to those halves... You are one of the few I would trust with my questions on them.

No obscene profit for me. Another forum member sent me his sizable stash of NGC PR68CAMs, and I picked the best five for cross. So, he gets the Obscene Profit™.

Of course they have a standarized system where everything is the same. But in this case as Russ said they might have made a custom label for it and sent it out the door quickly.

They left off the "ed" in Accented.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

They stopped that about a month or so ago.

The PCGS grading scale for the Accented Hair Kennedy stops at PR68 for cameos and deep cameos.
