    The 79S does have a little more mirror, but the other one is cleaner and very nice cheek
    Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.

    hard to tell form the pic's and I'm not a Morgan man ... but the 86 seems to have superior luster and less marks ... and definately the "look" of a higher grade

    #2 is an MS65, the other is a 64. That makes it one better.

    The 1886. Fewer marks and nice luster.

    The second coin seems to be much brighter and have far superior lustre. If the 79-S is truly semi-PL and not just a little duller, it may be the better choice, but I can't tell from the pictures. The second coin, though, definitely has a far superior cheek.

    If I were into PL Morgans, I'd probably prefer the '79-S. But I'm not, so I'll prefer the dripping luster and fewer hits on the '86.
