Ahhh...AT LAST....We are "VICTIMS !!"

I just discovered our affliction. Here all along I thought I just wanted more coins.

Then....the enlightenment.....in a book I came across the term, "hedonic adaptation" wherein satisfaction and happiness gets ever more elusive the more you get.

So....I must confess to entering "victim" status and will be seeking Government assistance (in the form of money to buy coins) so that I can become cured.

Anyone wishing to help me overcome the heartbreak of hedonic adaptation may send funds to me via PM.

Yes, I take PayPal and thank you for your generosity.

This is a serious affliction but there is a much more effective treatment than you
plan. In all probability more money would simply result in your buying more coins
and getting sicker. It would be much better to send me all your coins and if this
doesn't work then just start sending your money as well. When you get to nothing
then you'll probably be cured and the government will take care of you.

Good luck whatever cure you seek.

But cladking, then I would be an.....ENABLER! A curse I could not bear. No, my way is far better because if I get sick ENOUGH, I may be able to qualify for 100% ....DISABILITY!

Now, I haven't quite figured out what the disability compensation should be for a RETIRED guy, but I am willing to test the waters.

Fear not, for there is a twelve-step program just now emerging to cure your victimhood... The first step is to admit you have a problem, and the second step is for you to unburden yourself to me... I shall PM you with my mailing address forthwith.

We will work the rest of the steps together upon your completion of #2. image

Hey, that cheese is GOOD! I learned FOREIGN coins from a welfare MASTER. This character could juggle his job as a longshoreman to take only easy jobs and be "too late" with his call for work when the available jobs were all "lumpers." He rented his house from his mother in law, had one beater car that he took to the food distribution center, a NICE car registered to his mother, about $70,000 in foreign crowns and gold in the SDB (in 1976) and a "cash and carry" vest pocket dealership at shows.

He died a while back. They must have had to screw him into the ground.

Quite a character. Totally dishonest, but very knowledgeable. He could literally "con a con."

He even screwed me. Never contacted him again. Learning experience.

He had a lotta students that he "taught." Never saw ANYONE laugh so hard as when he took someone.

    Wonderful fellow (sarcasm)

I do owe him for what I ....did....learn before the screwing though.

Edited to add: He gave me his welfare cheese, kept the butter, fed the meat to the purebred Chows he bred, sold the rice and beans to the local Mexicans, etc etc etc.
