Giveaway....Last Chance...Winner

I have been wanting to do a giveaway for a while now as I have won a couple giveaways on the forum. I just won a lot of large Mexican silver 5 peso coins on ebay and one of them is a dup in my collection so I will be giving it away. The coin is below, this is one of my favorite designs on mexican coins.

To enter just post a pic of your favorite world coin design.

Avarel is too shy to enter these giveaways, so I'd like his name to be thrown into the hat in my stead.

My favorite design (along with Gothic florins) is the Bun Head found on British bronze farthings, halfpennies and pennies dated 1860-1874 (later buns weren't as nice). An example is shown.

Even simpler but I like the Canadian penny because it's the foriegn coin I grew up always finding.

Deciding on my favorite coin took some thought. My favorite is far from the most expensive or the hardest to find.

This coin is very special because of it’s design, there is no rim around the design, it goes all the way to the edge to form a sharp edge. It has quite a high relief, and is very simple.

It is also my favorite because I was fortunate enough to spend some time with King Olav on two different occasions. He was a true gentleman and a wonderful person to meet. How many collectors are lucky enough to have coins with images of someone they have actually met?
