I like it! I wonder if they are doing this with all Maundy coins? I might send a few in to be re-holdered.

Does that allow you to see the edges of the coin? If so, I like the approach...

Nice, but still the ugly ngc slab.They really need to redesign it from the start, pcgs and icg are way ahead in this.

They do that for very small coins.

Interesting ... I think I'd rather put my Maundy Sets in the custom holders, though, so all four will be in the same slab.

I've seen pics of "custom" slabs by NGC. I have no idea what the cost would be, though.

I first saw them doing that with California gold fractionals about two years ago.

I think I'd rather put my Maundy Sets in the custom holders, though, so all four will be in the same slab.

I do have a place here in Albuquerque who will make custom mounts for single or multiple coins. I have used them quite a few times with great success.
