This clip reminds me of a story told to me by one of the travelling coin buyers back in the late 70's when the Hunt Brothers drove up the price of silver. Two guys would travel, buy up coins, rings, etc., then lock themselves in a hotel room with loaded shotguns for the night. They paid all cash, and tons of bullion material. Too pass the time, they played coin toss. One widow brought in a Franklin Mint set of proof medals, handled them with white gloves. They bought the stuff for melt value. They took all of these proof medals and tossed and lagged them. Then all the stuff got sold for scrap. They did not have the heart to tell the widow - and she was happy with a big wad of cash. Everybody was happy with the deal.

Too much time on his hands, but that's what college is for!
