NOT that! I finally bid in one of those eBay Live Auctions. It was the NUPHILEX auction in Montreal. I never bid in an eBay live auction before because the fees always scared me away. But as someone mentioned in the thread on Auctions, just place your max. bid with the additional fee in mind. This auction had an additional fee of 17% for eBay bidders.

Well, I won the only lot I bid on. I now own a Good 1890-H Canadian 50c. I probably paid too much for it, but these coins are extremely difficult to find. With a mintage of only 20,000 they don't come up too often. I have been looking for a decent coin in Good for a couple years now.

    A little higher than trends actually. Trends is C$700 (Canadian News Trends). Yes, syracusian, it is THE key date. The closing price was below Trends, but with the fees, it was higher.

    Gene, yes. The first one was an ICCG AG3. Now that I have a G4, the ICCS coin will be sold.
