The 1942-P wartime nickel is a one year type coin in Proof. After the composition was changed to conserve supplies of nickel for use in the war, the mint issued 27,600 of these pieces before Proof coinage was suspended. No 20th century Proof type coin set is complete with it. I have a small group of these pieces in PCGS PR-66.
The price is $190.00 per coin plus $5.00 for First Class Postage for a total of $195.00.
Please send a PM or email if you are interested in one or more of these unusual coins.
