I was attracted to this thread due to the reference of Eddie who was the genius promotion of one of the game's best baseball people Bill Veeck.

I know the thread is meant to be humorous but unfortunately that got sidetracked by a comment that was further humored by SD and then attacked by Ax.

I'm not sure what the thing is between them but Ax - you inflammed the situation when it appeared that SD was just making a joke/play on words. What's the beef?

I enjoy when you guys go at it a bit - that's what the sports forum invites - but why strip each other of their dignity.

I call for a fair and equitable permanent truce.

I think you're both good guys.

I agree Mike. I found it interesting that at 5:31, 2 hrs after my last post he felt the need to again post, it is obvious that he has some sort of compulsive disorder. his need to get the last word in is clearly evident by that post. Since he is an idiot I have decided not to go back and forth with him ever again. I am sure he will reply here, but i will not. I also found it funny how when a person is clearly shown to be an idiot they usually fall back on some trivial nonsense like how a person spells or their grammar. like they never make any mistakes. It shows that they have an inferiority complex, and thus have the need to show what they perceive others weaknesses to be, By the way I went to Fordham for 2 years. Stopped going when the money ran out. Turned out to be a great decision for me as I entered a field that pays me very well.
