A DARKHORSE PRODUCTION of a very difficult coin to image, and it's "spot on". It's colour sort of puts me in mind of the stone at the York Minster.

Since most just couldn't be captured in the slab (at least by me), I sent them in for Phil to image at PCGS. I took the liberty to cut away the PCGS background/watermark for the larger images, and replace with this 'midnight blue' type color.
This is one of four gothic florins in my wee group, and yes, it's barely OK.....I may even send it in for an upgrade, or at least use it for 'grade justification'.
Wybrit, the Big Cheese in Mayfair has the roll of these.....I snuck this one out whilst he was gorging himself on the King's leftovers one night....
However, I was expecting an Austrian coin which shows where my affections lie.
It sure is difficult to find nice pieces like that.
I sent this one to Bill so that he coold do the coin justice. Not bad for being in a PCGS MS63 holder. imho. I've tried for a long time image the coin and finally threw in the towel.
