Martz stepping down

Because of his health condition Martz is taking a break, I've heard different stories of him stepping aside for 6 weeks, or maybe a full resignation. It will be interesting to see if the Rams improve without him. I love his offense most of the time, but everything else he should be doing as a head coach is not happening.

Wow. I didn't think he'd be back anyway next season, so this kinda gives everybody involved a way out without too much bloodshed. I kinda like him too, but he seems to be the catalyst for a lot of the tension and infighting among the muckety-mucks. The team needs a changing of the guard - and a freakin' overhaul of the defense - but it is unfortunate that it's coming about in this manner. I hope Martz recovers and can again become a successful offensive coordinator somewhere.
