Heritage Lots Arrived - Pics!

I received my Heritage lots this morning image

image
Nice & lustous; great reverse, but a bit more obverse "chatter" than I like to see on an MS65.

image
Beautiful! Any defects that might appear in the pics are reflections. This will go to NGC for the "Cameo" designation.

image
Great toning & very nice, but did I really need yet another one? ...probably not image.

image
This one you'd really need to see to appreciate...near perfection & beautiful, but very hard for me to photograph; badly scratched slab, too. Much, much more attractive than the "average" (black) toned Virgil Brand coin image

    Absolutely stunning coins. image

That 1888 5 mark reminds me of a coin you recently showed us in PCGS MS68, perhaps another denomination?

Dimitri, you are correct, the other one was a 2 Mark. image

Those are fantastic coins, Steve imageimageimage

Now do you still regret that the 5 Mark from NEN got lost ?

    Dimitri:
The MS68 is a 2 Mark. Here is is again: image

I haven't found a 5 Mark above MS66 yet...I now have two image (plus two MS64s), but would have had a third MS66 if the P.O. hadn't lost the one from NEN image. I just like this design; most are nicely toned with very distinctive looks. I have 11 of the 2 Marks, ranging from MS64 to the MS68. Each is unique in appearance image - Preussen

  • I love that Luther piece. I've been thinking lately of assembling a German set from the WWI thru WWII era. The coins are often wild, and in my opinion futuristic. All very fascinating I think.image

    Looking for alot of crap.
