These are freshly graded, and not back yet, with multiples available in all dates, and a few 66s as well. Seems that they were quite tough on the grading, as I had figured the breakdown almost the same, but at a point higher across the board... Oh well, at least I can say that in my opinion, all are very nice for the grades.
1803 Draped Bust Dollar ANACS EF40. AU luster over both sides, and toned in an attractive, rather vivd, reddish gold. The central high points on the obverse are a lighter natural grey, and give the impression, I believe, of more wear than is actually on this coin. Though not noted on the holder as a net grade coin, I think this was netted from AU due to an ancient cleaning visible beneath the toning. 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note (Defiant Eagle Reverse) Very Choice CU64+. One of my favorite large size type, this is an immaculate note, but just needs to be a tad brighter to grade Gem or better. Absolutely no soiling or signs of handling. Perfect margins on the face, reverse just a bit askew. A beautiful note. $425 OFF to PMG
1891 $1 Treasury Note VF, solid edges and corners, good color, no pinholes or tears, light soiling for the grade, no disruptive folds, and very well centered. Reverse looks closer to choice VF. VERY NICE. $325.

1922 P Peace ANACS MS61 (very old ANA holder, with serial preceeded by two letters). Flashy with attractive gold tone, just caught my eye, and is closer to 63 than 61. $24.
1923 D Peace Dollar ANACS MS63. Lustrous, well struck, and solid for the grade, with very few marks,and some attractive splashes of vivid reddish gold and metallic blue at the obverse rim between11:00 and 3:00. Nice coin and a better date.$120.

1928 S Peace Dollar PCGS MS63. This is from an original roll and has a light greyish rosy gold tone over both sides. NGC MS64's are bid at $800 (bluesheet), and this very original piece stands a good chance to make that grade. $525 delivered.
1949 PDS Roosevelt NGC "Grading Set", graded 64/66/65, respectively. Graded nearly consecutively, and probably by the same grader within a very narrow time frame, (#'s are 037,039,041) this is an interesting set of the key dates of the series. While the '49P looks better, and the '49S looks to not quite make the grade, the '49D is solid for the grade. P & S are brilliant, D has attractive light gold tone. This grading set will either fully confuse you, or give great insight to the tiny nuances of grade differentiation. Gotta have it! $105
1949 P Franklin ANACS (new) MS64 FBL. That's what it is, and brilliant. $85
1949 D Franklin NGC MS62 FBL. A few reeding marks front and back set the grade, but great strike and brilliant, certainly looks better. $65

1952 S Franklin NGC MS64. Brilliant with lots of frost and satiny fields. Very faint hint of gold and well struck. Two toning spots on reverse, and a cheek and bell that are a bit scuffy. Prorata roll bid is $65, this is $70
1949 P Franklin NGC MS63FBL. Brilliant w/ light gold rim tone on rev. One line of 4 reeding marks on Ben's jowl apparently the reason for the grade, looks better, with a great strike. The reverse is no question MS65. Prorata roll bid is $65. This $75.
1950 D Franklin NGC MS64 A bit scuffy for the grade, lustrous with a faint tan patina. $35
1953 S Franklin NGC MS65. Mark free with satiny surfaces. Faint tan patina with an above average strike. $75
1935 S Buffalo Nickel PCGS MS64. Greyish tone, but well struck for this issue. $65
1928 $10 Gold Certificate, VF30/VF20. Faces up great, with two heavy folds showing on the back only and soiling from wallet storage between the folds only (1/3 of the back). Great color and quite crisp. $120
2003 KC FRN $1 Radar or palindrome serial # J05466450B. Superb Gem, straight out of a Fed "Brick". Perfectly centered, virtually flawless note. $15
1934 A North Africa $10, XF. Three light folds, more apparent on back than front, perfectly centered, unabused edges and corners, nice color, virtually unsoiled and quite crisp. $125.
1934 Boston $100 FRN, XF. Light green Seal. Great looking note, with bright lime green seal and serials, deep black design features on front, and bright creme de menthe green back features. Virtually unsoiled, and perfectly centered, very crisp, with a light horizontal fold and two barely apparent verticals. Tougher district. $185
1966 $100 Legal Tender, AU. Clean, perfectly centered, with a faint horizontal fold and some crinkling here and there. Seal and Serials are Fire Engine Red, with sharp grey and black front features being very complimentary. $225
1934 A St Louis $10 FRN , DGS, Choice New. Clean and crisp, centered to the left on front and to the right on back, with a huge left hand margin. A counting crinkle is noted to the right of the seal. Bluish green seal and serials are a bit light, all other features boldly colored front and back. $40
1955 D Lincoln Cent ANACS MS63 Red DDO, FS021.93, light doubling on motto, liberty, and date. Neat mate for a '55P DDO. $50
1928 Peace ANACS MS63. Gorgeous, fully brilliant piece. Very smooth surfaces and a puffy clean cheek gives this key date an "All day long" MS64 look. Some hairline scratches visible on the cheek only when tilted under a light set the grade, but the luster, strike, and eye appeal are outstanding. Guaranteed to please. $730

1947 PDS BTW NGC65/66/65 gorgeous matched and original white set with a thin crescent of irridescent reddish amber on the bottom of each obverse. "D" mint has PCGS pop of 53/0,NGC pop of 75/2. I believe the "D" mint to be one of the absolute scarcest Commems in Superb Gem. Their absence from most inventories and auctions suggests that the 2000 sets distributed by Stacks may be all that exist of the "D" mint, with the huge remainder of 98,000 being melted for future BTW and WC issues. $950

1925 S Peace PCI Gold MS62. Brill/Lustrous. The grade is
pretty close, just a couple of heavier tics on cheek and chin,
baggy being the rule for this date, superior luster tho. I'll call
it MS61+ $77
1926 D Peace PCI Gold MS60. Brill/Lustrous, and looks nice, but a bit baggy,
as are many "D" mint Peace dollars. I would not hesitate to call
this MS61, however. $75
1928 S Peace ANACS MS61. Why did they grade this just MS61?? Dunno!
Nice original surfaces with satiny luster and some light yellowish patina,
probably imparted by roll storage. No distracting hits, and just a few light
hairlines on the cheek. Strike is average for the issue. This is also, I believe, a VAM
3, DD obverse, with nice doubling on the "TR" in TRUST.Should grade MS62,and is worth at least half of MS63 money. $250
1928 S Peace ANACS MS62. Appropriately graded and also a VAM3(?), with nice
doubling on the "TR". Tics and scuffs commensurate with the grade, strike is above
average, decent luster with the obverse mostly brill with some mottled russet
at the left rims, reverse has some mottled orange scattered throughout, with
a deeper orange/olive/ russet in the lower left quadrant. Nice looking and original
coin. $250
1952 S Franklin PCGS MS65. Nice satiny luster and a good strike. Light patina on the obverse in silvery/tan blue/grey, with the reverse a bit more deeply with a coppery crescent along the left rim. Probably from a mint set, but not starkly so, Very attractive coin. $100
1952 S Franklin NGC MS64 "Richmond Collection". Appropriately graded, but at the cusp of gem, with nice bright gold rim tone, brilliant otherwise. A really nice "64". $85
1950 D Franklin ANACS MS64. Brill/lustrous white with a hint of faint gold/tan patina, probably from a roll. Well struck, with bell lines extending all the way to the crack, but a tad soft in that area. A couple of reeding marks at the brow and in the adjacent field,as well as a couple on the bell, but not distracting. Pre Amos holder, and a very nice example. $50
1955 Franklin NGC MS65. Obvious mint set example, with deep, beautiful, copper/orange/blue on the obverse, with a similar but much lighter reverse. Well struck and quite clean, with one mark on the cheek noted, as well as a thin planchet line in front of the ear, but appropriately graded. $60
1958 Franklin PCGS MS65. Lightly toned mint set example, which is predominately a silvery pewter, with irridescent gold/yellow/green/blue at the rims and extending towards the centers. The portrait is very clean, though there is a well hidden, thin scratch behind the bust. Again, if brilliant and raw, I would probably call this MS64, but will concur with PCGS in the final assessment given it's superior eye appeal.$50
1957 Franklin NGC MS65. Unquestionable mint set coin, with typical colors in blue/charcoal/tan/pinkish orange, particularly attractive on the obverse for this date. Very clean obverse with a few thin scratches on the bell limiting the grade. In an older, but not 1st gen., fat NGC holder. $50
1958 D Franklin PCGS MS65. Typically toned example from a mint set, with a pewter/orange/russet obverse, and a similar, lighter reverse sporting a bright red/copper crescent at the left rim. Very clean, with a few thin scratches on the bell limiting the grade. $50
1957 D Franklin PCGS MS65FBL. Typically toned (for this date) mint set example, with a hazy greyish/tan/blue patina over both sides, with bright orange highlights really jumping out with a slight tilt under a light. Arguably not FBL, it seems PCGS is very lenient on this date in particular for this designation. Very clean surfaces, however, with just a couple thin circular scratches on the upper bell limiting the grade. $55
1960 D Franklin PCGS MS64FBL. Fully brilliant and fully struck, bright white example. This is just about as good as it gets in this grade, really making claims to the next grade up, and deserving of the FBL designation. Really nice example for a brilliant set, and a huge value, as MS65 nonFBL examples are bid at $300. This contender, just $65.
1957 P Franklin PCGS MS65. Another typically toned example from a mint set, but lacking the haziness most frequently encountered. Some scattered, tiny tics on the head and on the bell, and without the color, would probably grade MS64. Very nice eye appeal, tho. $50
Raw Franklins; all prices are delivered, one or a hundred! Most dates/grades have multiples;
Complete set in new Intercept album w/ outer sleeve. All are Unc, and mostly brilliant, with the exception of the '49 P, which grades AU58. Average grade would be 62/63, with a couple of 60s, and a few 64s. Many exhibit FBL, including 48PD, 49PD, 50PD, 51D, 52PD, 54P, 56P, 57D, 59d, and several others are quite close, even a couple of the tough "S" mints. A nice set. Prorata roll bid for the set now stands around $700. This set, delivered, $635.
Another complete set, all brilliant, flashy and virtually untoned, most grade MS64, with a few 63s sprinkled here and there. 14 or 15 show FBL detail. The '52S is in an NGC MS64 holder. Comes in an older, used but not abused blue Whitman. A very nice set. $735 delivered.

1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note (Defiant Eagle Reverse) Very Choice CU64+. One of my favorite large size type, this is an immaculate note, but just needs to be a tad brighter to grade Gem or better. 1949 PDS Roosevelt NGC "Grading Set", graded 64/66/65, respectively. Graded nearly consecutively, and probably by the same grader within a very narrow time frame, (#'s are 037,039,041) this is an interesting set of the key dates of the series. While the '49P looks better, and the '49S looks to not quite make the grade, the '49D is solid for the grade. P & S are brilliant, D has attractive light gold tone. This grading set will either fully confuse you, or give great insight to the tiny nuances of grade differentiation. Gotta have it! $105

1947 PDS BTW NGC65/66/65 gorgeous matched and original white set with a thin crescent of irridescent reddish amber on the bottom of each obverse. "D" mint has PCGS pop of 53/0,NGC pop of 75/2. I believe the "D" mint to be one of the absolute scarcest Commems in Superb Gem. Their absence from most inventories and auctions suggests that the 2000 sets distributed by Stacks may be all that exist of the "D" mint, with the huge remainder of 98,000 being melted for future BTW and WC issues. $950

1926 D Peace PCI Gold MS60. Brill/Lustrous, and looks nice, but a bit baggy,
as are many "D" mint Peace dollars. I would not hesitate to call
this MS61, however. $75
1928 S Peace ANACS MS61. Why did they grade this just MS61?? Dunno!
Nice original surfaces with satiny luster and some light yellowish patina,
probably imparted by roll storage. No distracting hits, and just a few light
hairlines on the cheek. Strike is average for the issue. This is also, I believe, a VAM
3, DD obverse, with nice doubling on the "TR" in TRUST.Should grade MS62,and is worth at least half of MS63 money. $250
1928 S Peace ANACS MS62. Appropriately graded and also a VAM3(?), with nice
doubling on the "TR". Tics and scuffs commensurate with the grade, strike is above
average, decent luster with the obverse mostly brill with some mottled russet
at the left rims, reverse has some mottled orange scattered throughout, with
a deeper orange/olive/ russet in the lower left quadrant. Nice looking and original
coin. $250
1952 S Franklin PCGS MS65. Nice satiny luster and a good strike. Light patina on the obverse in silvery/tan blue/grey, with the reverse a bit more deeply with a coppery crescent along the left rim. Probably from a mint set, but not starkly so, Very attractive coin. $100
1952 S Franklin NGC MS64 "Richmond Collection". Appropriately graded, but at the cusp of gem, with nice bright gold rim tone, brilliant otherwise. A really nice "64". $85
1950 D Franklin ANACS MS64. Brill/lustrous white with a hint of faint gold/tan patina, probably from a roll. Well struck, with bell lines extending all the way to the crack, but a tad soft in that area. A couple of reeding marks at the brow and in the adjacent field,as well as a couple on the bell, but not distracting. Pre Amos holder, and a very nice example. $50
1955 Franklin NGC MS65. Obvious mint set example, with deep, beautiful, copper/orange/blue on the obverse, with a similar but much lighter reverse. Well struck and quite clean, with one mark on the cheek noted, as well as a thin planchet line in front of the ear, but appropriately graded. $60
1958 Franklin PCGS MS65. Lightly toned mint set example, which is predominately a silvery pewter, with irridescent gold/yellow/green/blue at the rims and extending towards the centers. The portrait is very clean, though there is a well hidden, thin scratch behind the bust. Again, if brilliant and raw, I would probably call this MS64, but will concur with PCGS in the final assessment given it's superior eye appeal.$50
1957 Franklin NGC MS65. Unquestionable mint set coin, with typical colors in blue/charcoal/tan/pinkish orange, particularly attractive on the obverse for this date. Very clean obverse with a few thin scratches on the bell limiting the grade. In an older, but not 1st gen., fat NGC holder. $50
1958 D Franklin PCGS MS65. Typically toned example from a mint set, with a pewter/orange/russet obverse, and a similar, lighter reverse sporting a bright red/copper crescent at the left rim. Very clean, with a few thin scratches on the bell limiting the grade. $50
1957 D Franklin PCGS MS65FBL. Typically toned (for this date) mint set example, with a hazy greyish/tan/blue patina over both sides, with bright orange highlights really jumping out with a slight tilt under a light. Arguably not FBL, it seems PCGS is very lenient on this date in particular for this designation. Very clean surfaces, however, with just a couple thin circular scratches on the upper bell limiting the grade. $55
1960 D Franklin PCGS MS64FBL. Fully brilliant and fully struck, bright white example. This is just about as good as it gets in this grade, really making claims to the next grade up, and deserving of the FBL designation. Really nice example for a brilliant set, and a huge value, as MS65 nonFBL examples are bid at $300. This contender, just $65.
1957 P Franklin PCGS MS65. Another typically toned example from a mint set, but lacking the haziness most frequently encountered. Some scattered, tiny tics on the head and on the bell, and without the color, would probably grade MS64. Very nice eye appeal, tho. $50

Complete set in new Intercept album w/ outer sleeve. All are Unc, and mostly brilliant, with the exception of the '49 P, which grades AU58. Average grade would be 62/63, with a couple of 60s, and a few 64s. Many exhibit FBL, including 48PD, 49PD, 50PD, 51D, 52PD, 54P, 56P, 57D, 59d, and several others are quite close, even a couple of the tough "S" mints. A nice set. Prorata roll bid for the set now stands around $700. This set, delivered, $635.
Another complete set, all brilliant, flashy and virtually untoned, most grade MS64, with a few 63s sprinkled here and there. 14 or 15 show FBL detail. The '52S is in an NGC MS64 holder. Comes in an older, used but not abused blue Whitman. A very nice set. $735 delivered.

1892 P Barber quarter ANACS AU55. Brilliant and lustrous, being all white with a thin band of gold at
both rims. A great strike and unquestionably prooflike fields gives this coin nice appeal. Just some
light hairlines, mostly on the portrait, with absolutely no distracting marks. $135
