I have quite a few 3rd Reich coins my father brought back from WWII. I found them in a box of personal items my father left after he died. Within the coins were medals and a luger (sp) pistol. The only other German coins I have is a 1/2 mark dated 1911.

Your father's coins are great keepsakes image ...and with proper use of the Luger, you could obtain many more coins image - Preussen

I didn't know those were popular. I have had like 8 or 9 in that condition just sitting in a junk box of mine.

Just kidding...fantastic coin...I have an extensive German paper collection. I literally bought a dealer's entire inventory between ages 11 and 12.

I can only dream of owning a Third Reich coin like that (yes I collect them also) but have nothing close to that. :*(
WTB: Eric Plunk cards, jersey (signed or unsigned), and autographs. Basically anything related to him

Positive BST: WhiteThunder (x2), Ajaan, onefasttalon, mirabela, Wizard1, cucamongacoin, mccardguy1

    Negative BST: NONE!

Nice Proof examples are scarce, but they do come around from time-to-time; just keep an eye out for 'em image. Finding nice BU examples of some of them is very tough, too.

Just what in 3rd Reich do you collect? I have a type set, with many types (but not all, yet) in both MS and Proof. I'm also working on a complete set of all 2 & 5 Marks in MS; all types, all dates & all mints. This is proving to be quite a bit more of a challenge then I had anticipated. Some of them seem to be virtually impossible to locate in nice condition.

    Good Luck, - Preussen

Perhaps changing the subject a bit, but are there any known error-strikes among third reich coinage?

I'm not sure if this was asked of me, but my answer would be that I really don't know. I suppose some errors might exist, but I've never noticed any or really ever thought about it. Perhaps another member will have some information on this. - Preussen

That is a fantasy coin. Most probably modern made. I once purchased two of them to study from german e-bay. They looked like in mint shape.
