Biggest surprise so far in week one?

I'd have to say it's the beatdown KC is putting on the Jets...the Jets were regarded by many to have a legitimate shot at the AFC title this year, and they have done nothing all day.

Yeah I don't know football. Right.

Why don't you go back behind that shed you are so fond of and 'enjoy' your photos of gruden and company you have there?
  • I agree Axtell. The worst Jets performance in years. Pennington had 7 fumbles.

That was weak Ax..you are losing your touch. I guess that will happen when you have been made look silly 3 times this week. Im almost
hoping that the Giants win so Gemmy can join in. Maybe you can make a prediction on that one too!

Dude what are you talking about? 3 times in a week?

And when FSU loses (which they will when they aren't playing 1-AA patsies), will you shut your mouth and go crawl back under your hole again?

You make bucs fans everywhere ashamed! Win with dignity you moron.
  • I thought Miami had a good chance of winning, but that's the biggest upset. TB in close second followed by the Saints.

KC can play awesome at home. I remember when they killed the Falcons last season there...

Biggest surprise- Looks like the 49ers will be in first place in the west.

Yeah am watching this game...I can't believe the Rams aren't putting their foot through the 49ers...the Rams are playing very uninspired football, as if they overlooked the 9ers.

Very common in the Martz era.

I enjoyed the Jags/Seahawks game from my seat in section 431. Some very interesting things occurred...someone might find a little interesting. Then again, you might not give a poop.

    1. Matt Jones lined up under center once. Ran a bootleg for a few yard gain.

    2. Jimmy Smith caught a few balls, don't remember any drops like the pre-season.

    3. Fred Taylor started and had 76 or so rushing yards, and caught a couple passes. I think he went out at the very end of the game limping...might have been cramps (leg cramps, for those that want to be funny)..It was hotter than H..L

    4. Jags tried a couple end arounds with Matt Jones...I think both ending in gains.

    5. Byron actually looked ok.

    6. The one that amazed me almost the most, "#98 and #99" checked in as elligible receivers on the same play. For those that aren't Jag watchers, thats John Henderson and Marcus Stroud. It was a 3rd and short and I think Toefield tried and failed to make the 1st down.

    7. Finally, the Jags won a game.

Indy here we come.....Hopefully we show up.

The Chiefs spanking the Jets was big, but how about the Lions shutting down the Packers 17-3? Surprised me...

  • It'd have to be the Niners win for me... thought for sure they'd get pounded and
STL's Jackson would've been cruizin and eating up the clock...

  • Axthole claiming he knows didly about football. Foolball yes, football no. LOL
