Felix Rolls Again...

...one of the few bright spots for the Mariners this year, this kid is beyond unreal. If anyone hasn't gotten to see him throw yet, do yourself a favor and catch it.


His stats so far this year:

3-2 in 8 starts, 1.59 ERA, 50 strikes and only 10 walks, and 51 IP.

    I just wish you 2 would conduct your circle jerk via PM instead of trashing this forum with your garbage.

    Must burn you up the Mariners have the best young pitcher, and the yankees only have a bunch of broken down, overpaid has beens and never-weres.

    This Felix kid is quite impressive - he has the potential to be one of the AL's best for the next several years. Already, he is putting up impressive numbers indeed. If the Yanks had him (never happening, they would have traded him as a prospect), I think Spammy would create 1000 threads about how great he is.

    He'd create a new thread every time he pitched.

    I tried to find that thread that was made the day of his first start, but couldn't find it, so reluctantly started a new one...only to have it attempted to be derailed.

    Unlike Doc, I don't think the trappings of the NY scene will pull him to the dark side, and I am sure the M's will be surrounding him with the right people - they have an outstanding history of turning very young and very talented players to great major leaguers very early (griffey and arod both playing at age 19 and dominating).

    This kid will be the M's opening day starter.

    He is a STUD. I haven't seen him pitch yet but I do see the great numbers he's putting up for my fantasy team, I hope he keeps it going.

    I'd like to know as well...this kid is on fire and he's only going to get better as he gets more experience and confidence. Pitching out of the bases loaded situation yesterday must have done wonders for his confidence.

    Most impressive to me is his 5:1 strikeout to walk ratio...he's obviously not intimidated by big league hitters...and he's only 19!

    I saw the first game Felix pitched in Seattle... this kid's going to be a star!

    matt is coming for the mariners as well. They will win the west in 2 years =)

    The kid is pitching again today, game starts at 4 eastern.

    Should be another quality start against an O's team that hasn't been hitting much lately.
