What is on this 1922 Peace? (Lg Pics)

I know very little about Peace Dollars. Is this toning, or something worse? Thanks for your opinions.

    That's what they look like to me. Hate to say it but IMO this is one lady that could use a quick dip.

    It's toning. There are a few spots that look too dark/engrained to come out with a dip, at least one that is quick enough to not impair the lustre.

    You are probably right--so now my advice (unsolicited and therefore free) is to sell it and get a pretty one (and there're lots of good looking !922s in 63 and 64).

    Spotty and ugly, and not the kind of toning and spots that respond well to dipping. I would get rid of it.

    A lot of the 1921's look like that.
