AT, is there a SUREFIRE way to detect it?

I bought a (I still think so
) nice 1829 Bust Half last evening and was wondering if there is a SUREFIRE way to determine if the toneing is Natural or Artificial.
Thanks

Here's somewhere to start...
Do it your self.
Thats one way.
Sorry I know it was a serious question.

(Priest) BLASPHEMY he said it again, did you hear him?
for me
i find there are three types of toned coins
number1)...... no brainer NT
number2) .....questionable/possible NT?? coins and/or market acceptable AT and/or coins that i am not quite sure about
number 3).....no brainer AT
there is a sure fire way to solve all this
reread the above and only BUY number 1) coins
Thanks.

Yes, thanks for the link. I bought a Type I 1917 SLQ a while ago in XFish condition and the tarnished/earthy tone looked just too good to be true. After a little soap & water it now is a beautiful Bright WHITE, Oh Well...
Thanks

Frattlaw / TonedPeaceNut invented the Gaunkulator in his FINALLY -- a scientific test to determine AT vs. NT!
thread, but the powers that be silenced him and no further information was ever disclosed to the public.
