Experience with greatsoutherncoins

Anyone have any experience with this seller? They have a lot of raw coins listed that I would like to bid on, but the pictures they provide are the pits. Their feedback rating is kinda iffy - it says 100%, but if you look at the negatives / neutrals they actually have several negs and more that have been withdrawn. Just wonder what experience others have had buying from them.

Of course, you have to wonder about a particular dealer when the best that can be said for them is that they honor their return policy...

Make sure that when you do a search that you also check the forum that you want to search. ie U.S. Coin Forum. Also, try seperating the search criteria. ie Great AND Southern.

The search details will provide good information.

However, to summarize:

1. A good portion (that is, almost all) of this seller's raw coins are overgraded, problem coins (cleaned, etc.), or horribly AT'd, many times all of the above. Best to avoid.

2. Many of the certified coins look (to me) lousy for the grade. I suspect many of the "overgraded" coins the forum has been whining about lately are being offered by this seller. Buy with caution.
