Personally, I can think of countless other items that yougin's can spend their money on that will end up in the trash or some thirft store, if not worse.

DickyBetz - Nice move in "going public" and explaining your side. BTW, the late Duane Allman was a better guitar player than DB, especially on the blues cuts. His bottle neck slide guitar riffs are legendary!! DB is good too though!

After reading this post I think I have a couple of cents to throw in. To DickyBetz I wanted to say you did a good thing here. Standing up and saying "I screwed up" is never an easy thing to do. Shows some maturity growing in that young body of yours. I think maybe you should try to sit down and talk to your mom about your coins. Its a good hobby, and god knows there are a lot of BAD things you could be getting into. Maybe you could get her to help you set up a bank account linked to a paypal account. Then you don't have to worry about future funds getting lost, and maybe your mom will feel a little better about your online purchases. Its and easy thing to do and it speeds up the transaction process so you get your coins faster . I wish I could back you up a little in this, like talk to her for you. I have 14,16 and 17 year old kids, and I could tell you some stories. I wish just 1 of em was into coin collecting.
To the rest of you, quit bashing GA and his post. Irregardless of his motives, a happy ending came out of this, and a yn is a little more grown up from the experience. I don't think he was trying to put pressure on DB, just ascertain if he truly had been "had". It wouldn't be the first time a person with a heart had been taken advantage of. And who knows, maybe DB will get this worked out with his mom, and be a major player down the road. Only time will tell.
I got myself a bank account and I have talked to my mom about the coin collecting hobby and she now thinks that it is a good hobby for me to have. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it.
Just wanted to let you all know that DickyBetz is a good YN. I didnt realize it, but we had a transaction previous to this "stuff". Payment was prompt and you couldnt ask for much more.

THANKS for your KIND words to me. I have felt like some people were bashing me! As I stated in mt 1st post I did so because at some point I became suspicious that I had been conned. I posted to see if anyonte had a similiar experience with the same YN. When it became clear it was a one time thing with DickeyBetz I refused to post his name and embarrass him. He "stepped up" and admitted it himself.
Now, if he still wants the (2) coins I will send them BACK to him FREE OF ANY CHARGE just to show that it was my intention to do so after he lost his money in the mail AND to sat I AM SORRY for all the CRAP this post caused and as an apology to ALL YN out there. I never BAD MOUTHED any of them or wanted anyone else to do so.

i have been screwed three times on things i have sent three different YN on these boards a couple of years ago
i will most likely not do it again with YN as my experience as such is they are extremely immature and not to be trusted and their word is no good >>
