Hi Aukker, there is a separate forum where everyone lists what they have to buy, sell, or trade, strangely enough called the Buy, Sell, & Trade - Coins Forum. Most people also appreciate it if you put ebay in the title of your thread if that's where your coins are being sold (which I see you did here, just so you'll keep it in there) Good luck image

You really should have learned a little bit more about coins and coin grading before heading to ebay. I saw this line in one of your auctions and i just had to laugh "I have here 250+ Silver nickles ranging from 1938 to 1964. " Do you know why?

  • I might add...............if those are the coins you traded for the Vette............your "friend" did good.

  • AU 55 on that CC Morgan........you have to be joking right? And that lot of 1921 Morgan's that are EF-AU..............several look to be around VG from your images so I would say learn how to grade and learn how to image coins before attempting to sell....I am not trying to give you a hard time......this is honest feedback from a Power Seller on Ebay.

Why are you showing a picture of 16 coins in the lot which only has 11 according to the description?

And the description: These things will go for a lot more than you will be bidding on these. Coins are one of the best investments because the value will virtually never go down. Get these now before they go up. Seems like a bit too much hype. Plus those of us who remember the crash of '89 know these things can go down in value, and hard.

I agree why not list what you have on the buy and sell forum here?
Many people, like me, will not buy from ebay because of all the bad stories that are posted here about ebay.

It also looks silly to scream "No RESERVE" when you're starting an auction at more than the coins are worth.

  • Thanks for your opinions guys, but I really am way too busy to grade everyone of these coins, I asked for help, but everyone either wanted me to pay them or bepatient, the truth is, i don't have patience, sorry, but I don't. I appreciate everyone's help, but I had to go ahead and do this, sorry. I don't want to sell them in this forum because I don't know what they are worth, I just listed the info and pics on ebay do people can look on there and see what they are worth, if they only go or $200, oh well, I only gave $2,000 for the car and had maybe $500 in the motor, so helping a friend out was ok with me, anyways thanks aain for ya's helpimage

  • Aukker,

You have to understand that if you come here looking for assistance, then there are people who will be very happy to help you. There are lots of good people here. However, you can't come here and ask for assistance, and then go off on your own because you don't have enough patience to sell things in a controlled manner. There is no free ride, and to do things right takes time. By hyping overgraded coins with sensless babble on Ebay, you are not going to endear yourself to anyone here.

If you are scamming, then please go somewhere else. No one is dumb enough to bite on the lure here. If you want help in selling the coins, "that you know nothing about", then people on the boards can help. If you want money tomorrow, go to a dealer. Don't try to hustle on Ebay.

Well said. It makes me wonder whether this was a sincere request for help or just

  • I think that some of the people on here are just mad I didn't give them my coins. I am scamming no one. I took pictures and state that there is no gaurentee on what the coins will grade for. I asked for help, but never intended on stating to be a coin collector, its just not my style, sorry. Thanks again for the help and I don't really apreciate anyone accusing me of scamming, and I really don't appreciate the guy who said you were wasting too much time on me.

To you, screw you, I though this forum was to help people. Sorry I didn't have the patience to sell them for money, I don't need $$$, but I don't want the coins so I took them to ebay when i felt I didn't want to wait any longer. This will probably be my last post here and well I am glad because a lot of you people are just plain rude.

Don't get me wrong now, a lot of people were very helpful and nice, but I don't feel this is a forum for me. So best of luck to al of youimage

I regret taking the time to give you advice, and reading your threads, generally taking an interest. You have expressed yourself rudely, and made it apparent you never intended to take any advice anyway, which makes me question your motives for coming here in the first place.

  • For the record--as I suggested we had invested a fair amount of time and energy in trying to help him and that it seemed to be a waste of time as he was interested in no advice, I received a fairly nasty PM from our friend. I was also the recipient of the "screw you" comment. But, on a high note he says he's through with all of us---as we just want his coins. I definitely want a lot of worn '21 Morgans. Peace to all--as you know from my posts, I'm a real rude guy!

Well, now that Aukker's gone we'd better find someone new to be rude to. Anyone have any idea where to start? imageimage

Should we start a contest on the date someone negs him for over grading?

Looks like your friend gave you a lot of crap (a trait you seem to have inherited from him).
