Why are Proof Tw0-Cent Pieces so cheap??

I assume it's because of demand. However, the design is pleasant, the alloy tones nicely, has a nice look when mirrored and the mintages are miniscule, yet noone collects them. I just don't get it.

My icon coin is one of my favorites - ICG PF65RB.
They're sleepers.
You don't wanna wake 'em, now, do you?
I set out to collect them, but I ain't got the dough to spare.
I bought one, an 1868 PCGS PR64 RD, which I used to use as an icon.
It was a sweetheart, very nearly CAM.
Regrettably, I later sold it, but it's in good hands now.

Toned proof 2c are a sight to behold. However if you want to find one that combines vibrancy and monster color then you will be looking for a long, long time.
