Supposedly made by the first coinage press ever used in the US Mint.

    It has been alleged that the design of the reverse of the Monroe commemorative half dollar was “borrowed” from this medalet. image
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals.
