John Patterson has 13 quality starts, 7 starts going 7 in allowing 2 or fewer earned run, but ONLY has 4 wins. I think he has surpassed Clemens as the hard luck pitcher of the year since Clemens has been able to pick up some wins lately. Does anyone make the list?

I agree. ERA is the single most important statistic for a pitcher. In 1966 Mel Stottlemyre who was a very good pitcher lost 20 games but had a respectable 3.80 ERA.
