Kudos to Compucheap/Russ

I recently had occasion to consign some coins to Russ for ebay sale. Everything went smoothly and was handled very professionally. I would highly recommend Russ' services for ebay sales. His skill and reputation on the 'bay easily paid for his services in the form of higher bids.

    I've been planning to do the same thing thing for a while myself. It's been so long ago that I contacted him, he's probably already forgotten it.

    Still, I intend to get around to it sooner than later.

    I have had similar good experiences with Compucheap. The word on the street is Russ is buying Heritage, and may devote a little more of his time to this coin thing.

    OK OK - I will admit that I've consigned coins to Russ and had very good success as well. It wasn't even pocket change like he normally deals in! image

    Someone PM'ed and asked why I did not sell the coins myself on ebay. Russ' photography skills and marketing savvy are hard to match. Plus, all that stuff takes time, and with my commitment here on the forum, there is little time for anything else! Similarly, while technically I probably could take out my own appendix, it would probably go much smoother if someone else more expereinced did it for me.

    I looked in my eBay history and see that I have bought 20 coins from Russ over the years.

    And all this time I thought Russ was just selling off everything from his massive collection to trim it down to just Kennedys imageimageimage
