I heard this on the news today !!!!!

A little ot but pretty interesting.
Since the Supreme Courts ruling involving taking personal property (real estate) if it will better the local economy.
Plans are being proposed to build a hotel on the current home site of Supreme Court Justice David Souter (ruled in favor of the decision) In Ware, N.H.
Apparently a new hotel will benefit the local economy, new jobs, more revenue. I wonder if it will work.

I just found the article.

Heard it yesterday from Rush Limbaugh on the radio. Very good! Thought the name appropriate for the hotel, Lost Liberty Hotel. I only hope the guy follows through with his attempt to get the land for the hotel.

Some Judges are quick to punish someone in setting an "example for the community". Nothing too bad about that, but it would be cool if the community would use this to set an example for the judges.

It would be wonderful if some of these Supreme Court justices could be forced to live under their own laws.

Decisions like the one in the New London, CT case cause average citizens like me to lose respect for these people. Taking private property by eminent domain for the financial benefit of a PRIVATE developer is just plain WRONG. Decisions like this make the Supreme Court look like a bunch of dictators in black robes.

BTW this should be and probably will be removed to the Open Forum.

    Okay, old news? Maybe OT?

I think there are three more Justices that need to feel this pain.

"Did the Beatles submit to PCGS? "

What in the He-L-L does that have to do with this topic, although it is admittedly OT????
