NEWPS - Friankies and a commem

Went to the show today, it was not as busy as before. I was tired and I was not looking for anything special. I snagged 2 proof sets and York commem (raw). give your best shot helping me to grade the commem!

  • I would guess the grade of the York, high 65. If the luster is better than picture than it could be 66

    he probem valuewise is that there is no $$$ difference between 65 and 66

    The York is either an MS-65 or 66. It won't grade any higher or lower, and the price structure is so flat on them between the grades that it doesn't make a difference. The stain on the edge on the reverse might lock it into the MS-65 column.

    Yorks almost always come in high grade. It makes it tough to sell anything that is MS-64 or lower ... if you can find one. image
