Should I neg this seller, opinions needed.

I bid on and won this auction. I received the coin and it looks to be a dipped and stripped coin in a pcgs holder. After a few emails the seller tells me to quit wasting his time, he does not take returns (I knew this before bidding but his description won me over). Does the coin look dipped to you? Should I neg him?
My pics of the coin, its in a ms-65 ogh.

I agree. Stop wasting his time.
Joe.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
<< <i>he does not take returns (I knew this before bidding but his description won me over). >>
If you knew before bidding that he didn't accept returns, there is no justification for negative feedback.

<< <i>Neg him for what?
For sending me a coin that didn't match his auction description, he called it a beautiful red toned Morgan, not, it has very little luster and it is unattractive.

Not even close, that classic Morgan cartwheel luster is mostly gone.

As a coincidence, this is the seller I got the beautiful toned 1886 VAM 1A1 from, and the coin looked better than his image.
If you don't like the coin, I'll be happy to take it off your hands for the $220 you paid. PM me if you want to get rid of it.
Actually you could probably dip it and resubmit it and get a 66

Not in his ebay ad, I emailed him asking about his return policy.
Thanks everybody for your opinions. I am going to leave him a positive feedback.

You've had an offer to sell it and this will get you out of your conundrum.
Hey check the other thread that a joker started. The spirt of the thread SUCKS.......

No and no.
Two things:
1) A neg should be used to warn other buyers about some level of rip-off
2) Never take a neutral to a negative fight

I'm confused. Are you saying the listing did not outline his return policy?
You said you e-mailed him asking about the return policy. Was it before or after you purchased the coin?
<< <i>Ken, who are you calling "clowns"? >>
Whats the matter with clowns. For the most part they are happy go lucky people and serve up a relaxing atmosphere....
Actually my post should have went in another thread but Wally was here so it was posted.
So Very Sorry Eric....
Cheers.

The listing did not outline his return policy. I emailed and asked before I purchased the coin.
B. You knew going into the auction there are no returns
C. No, I do not think this seller deserves a negative feedback. Perhaps a neutral feedback comment for not being as accomodating as maybe he should have been.

-Can you provide your ebay handle please. That's a blockable comment.
I think you did pretty well, and the coin does not looked dipped to me. What I have found sometimes in these OGH holders is that some of the coins over a period of time begin to tone. I think it was in the paper they used, or maybe just that they didn't seal as well. Anyway, sometimes the lustre can look subdued because of being in the early stages of toning, maybe that's what you see.
Anyway, if you don't like the coin, you can sell it to Eric (K6AZ). He has one of the best eyes for Morgans here, if he likes it, its a coin worth standing up and saluting to.

The color of red is RED folks and not a russet orange color or whatever the buyer got. And the use of the term "beautiful" can be assumed to have original luster accompanying the superlative.
Just what the heck would you expect...........a BEAUTIFUL RED COIN! But instead, the guy received something inferior to what was described. And the guy most likely paid good money for a BEAUTIFUL RED COIN and he didn't get that.
You should be able to return the coin inspite of the fact there was no return policy. If you know how to reason with the seller in a professional manner otherwise you're SOL.

Might be right -- strong strike and surfaces look pretty clean on that coin.
