It's a PSA 5 Berra. High end? That's almost meaningless on eBay, like PSA 5++++++++ or "I got robbed, this should be PSA 6." You should just tune out the sales hype and base your bid on the grade and your own eyes, not what the seller claims it coulda-shoulda been. If you ever get a card on eBay that's "high end" for its grade, it's a nice bonus, not something you can bank on just because a seller says so.

Remember that 2nd Chance Offers aren't just in case of deadbeat bidders. They're also used when you have more than one example of the item for sale, not at all uncommon in the case of modern cards where sellers have stacks of PSA 10 whoever.

Either way. If raw and I were to send it in to be graded but came back altered, I would expect a refund.

You are correct. The only thing I mentioned in regards to the grade was that there are issues with the corners that you are unable to pick up from the scan (bent and worn corners). On the scan, the corners appear to be in good shape. Because of this, I suggested to the Seller that he should disclose these issues since his only desription is to see the scan.

    EX 5: Excellent.

Excellent On PSA EX-5 cards, very minor rounding of the corners is becoming evident. Surface wear or printing defects are more visible. There may be minor chipping on edges. Loss of original gloss will be more apparent. Focus of picture may be slightly out-of-register. Several light scratches may be visible upon close inspection, but do not detract from the appeal of the card. Card may show some off-whiteness of borders. Centering must be 85/15 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.

I just want to say that the Seller has a successful track record, a wide client base, and based upon other members' experience, is a straight up guy.

    VG-EX 4: Very Good-Excellent.

A PSA VG-EX 4 card's corners may be slightly rounded. Surface wear is noticeable but modest. The card may have light scuffing or light scratches. Some original gloss will be retained. Borders may be slightly off-white. A light crease may be visible. Centering must be 85/15 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.

    His title:

    << <i>PSA 5 EX - HIGH END! >>

    His description:

    << <i>PLEASE SEE SCAN >>

    True discription:

<< <i>TWO OF THE CORNERS HAVE SLIGHT BENDS, THE OTHER 2 HAVE SLIGHT WEAR. >>

I only suggested that he should reconsider his item description. He doesn't have to if he doesn't want to... That's totally up to him. My point in regards to how he tiltled his action and descrption. Had he mentioned the corner bends and wear, the high bidder would have not bid in the 1st place.
