Has there been any backlash against Beltran yet? I know he's a second half player but 7 homers and 1 steal are pretty sad for that amount of money.

    Don't be so hard on the guy. My brother-in-law who is a big Mets fan said that Beltran strained his quadriceps during Spring Training and he tried to come back too soon. According to my brother-in-law Beltran hasn't totally recovered. I guess the Mets should hope he isn't another Griffey.

    I'm not being hard on the guy just wanted to know if the fans were, I know they were booing Kaz. I hope Beltran turns it around soon my fantasy team needs the boost.

    It is tradition. The Mets pick up a great player, and they disappoint. How else to explain such a hig payroll with such poor results?

    Beltran is definetly trying to play hurt and it shows

    Mets have been a disapointment so far fo the most part . They need to start winning some games before it's too late

    CBS Sportsline fantasy ran article today about what a dissapointment he's been. He has responded with a 3 run homer already today, I hope he really heats up.
