I think I am on the hold 45 business day alert? I called asking why someone who sends in cards 15 days after me and they get their cards back before me? I think I ticked off the customer service supervisor? Oh well if it wasn't for jerks like me they wouldn't be in business! Would they?

  • Howdy!
I'm joining in on the long list of guys waiting for their grades!! I'm at 28 days with a $5 submission logged in on May 31... I know that there are plenty of collectors who are way over 28 days. I read that someone has a submission from 5/6 they are still waiting on!! Crazy!! No one should have to wait that long even if they send in odd ball cards. I've sent in about 7 submissions in the past half year with various specials ( no guaranteed turn arounds) and have never waited over 3 weeks for my grades!! Time to hire more help???? Paul
  • My special was sent on 4/26, was checked in on 5/6 and finally had grades posted on 6/24. 35 working days. This ended up being almost exactly the same as my other two non-sports special submissions. Its still shorter than 45 days so I shouldnt complain (also I once had a 45-day submission graded in 4 days image).

You know, if some of you guys keep complaining that you don't understand what 45-business days mean, PSA will keep churning out $12/5-days specials just to shut you up. image

I am of the strong opinion that ALL bulk rates should be $5/card and if it take 3 months to grade, so be it. We need cheaper bulk grading fees, not impatient submitters.

Let me guess "Buc", you got your cards back quickly. I did leave a post on a different thread though debating whether or not to spend the $12 and get my products graded quickly vs. waiting 2 or 3 months. I decided saving $700 would be better not realizing it would take 2 or 3 months.
  • I agree with you Carew29. I would rather save the $ and endure the wait. My complaint is when others get their $5 specials graded right away and some of us wait for weeks on end!! I wouldn't have any problems if everyone had the same wait for their cards!! Doesn't seem fair to me!!

I agree with that as well. It should be more fair or at least, better managed. If more people were willing to wait (or exhibit more patience) to save money, then I believe PSA would be forced to offer lower grading fees or offer more expanded $5 specials in order to maintain their current level of business.
  • Amazing, I just sent my free subscription submission in and viola 2 days to get the results back. Not too sure on why I got a 6 and a 7. Thought they all would go 8 and up. But hey they was free.
