That is some of the heaviest textile toning I have seen. His images aren't the best, but I bet that's one nice coin.

If I could drop the money, I'd grab it in a heartbeat.

He should've raised the blinds before taking the pics by his window.

Unless its better in hand that blue looks kinda dull.

It's that old eye appeal thing. I like the coin but the toning leaves a lot to be desired...IMO...

The close up pic that shows the weave is amazing. You can actually see the individual threads. I don't think I've ever seen a better example of textile toning. I'm not crazy about the coin though.

Becky, did you notice it has the same clash as the 82-CC?

I like it overall...I am not fond on toning that turns that dark, but I do think the coin will look a tad bit better in hand and the textile pattern is simply amazing. Not sure it's worth the opening bid for me...but I would pay a premium for sure. image

I noticed..but it's not as hard as the 82, no n on her neck. image

Did you see how the frost extends off of the devices into the fields, kind of following the clash? I have been trying to fiqure out why it does that. It has to be a die polishing issue, but I haven't quite got my head wrapped around how it happens yet. Does anyone know? It kind of reminds me of Russ's artifically frosted coins.
