Yeah, I know...its MODERN CRAP
but just some input... If a person was dumb enough to collect state quarters,
would they need the wisconsin leafs to have a complete collection or are thes just??

It basically amounts to how much money do you want tied up in state quarters.
Millions upon millions of collectors, frankly, don't care if WI has leaves or not. Those that do pay extra to own one.

particular variety to be fascinating so it is likely to be in the albums. Still, it is up to the col-
lector.
While few people seem to believe any of the moderns or ultramoderns have much potential,
the fact remains they are a lot of fun to collect and can be collected cheaply or not dependent
on the desires and means of the individual. Historically collectors tend to do much better than
investors financially and almost invariably have more fun.
Suit yourself.
I don't think they're necessary for a complete set. But if you want them, then get'em!
It will depend how much interest continues to hold for the Wisconsin extra leaf coins. If the market keeps moving on them, and there are continued ads in places like "Coin World" for them, they will probably become a part of an "advanced" State Quarter set.
