These have little value and are nothing more than curiosity pieces.

It's funny that the mint did this of as a way of junking bad coins. They should just give them away at mint tours and other PR events to make them common enough that a secondary market wouldn't bring much. It would be a fun give away. I'd like to have one (for free of course).
Putting them in slabs is just lame.

If the cancelled coin has the details like the one in the picture that would be great, but, most i've seen are almost completely void of strike details. They look like smooth planchet cancellations.
