Philippines 1897 SGV 1 Peso, KM 154 EF $67
1 year type coin, characteristic lack of detailed hair, the reverse details show the state of preservation on this large silver. This coin has been kept in a paper envelope for many years. The obverse is covered about %80 in a subtle, underlying irridescent blue. The reverse rims show bluing.

I have a nice and rare 1954 trio on ebay, the scans do not do justice to these coins,so I assume this is the reason why they are still at these bargain levels.image

Hey Mongoose - that Southern Rhodesia Crown is cool!!! I never knew that there was a REAL coin that had my own name on it - often does that happen (for unusual names like Cecil) ?!?!?!

Cecil, it is a cool coin. I actively look for oddball denoms and uncommon coins, this is the only one (S. Rhodesia Crown) I've ever owned. I wasn't even aware that S. Rhodesia had a crown until I saw this coin.image

Twenty (20) different pre-1900 copper coins. Many different countries with some coins in the 1700s. Most are lower grade but all have dates with the exception of the Brit 1797 1d.
