Well, it looks like I've wasted more of my life here than I thought.
Anyhow, in recognition of this momentous achievment, I've decided to hold a giveaway in celebration of my 1500th post. So, I've decided that whoever can come up with the most comical meaning of the acronyms on the following sign will win:
The rules are as follows:
1) One guess per person.
2) No edits allowed.
3) There are two acronyms, before and after the "&" - you must guess each one.
4) If anyone knows what they actually mean, please don't tell, in the interest of making this funny. (I know what the sign is really for)
5) Guessing ends 1 week from today whenever I go to sleep.
6) After the end of guessing, I'll edit this post into a poll, and allow voting for another week.
7) At the end of voting, the meaning with the most votes will win. In the event of a tie, I will decide the winner.
Just in case you're wondering, the picture is of a real sign in Port Henley, South Australia, near Adelaide.
The winner will receive an Uncirculated 2003 ASE with a bit of rim toning, a 1910-S Lincoln Cent certified by ANACS as VG-8, a 1864 Bronze Indian Head Cent ANACS certified as VF Details Net VG-8 Corroded, and an uncirculated roll of 1963-D Lincoln Cents. Now, start guessing!
