Bring them on guys! Yours are all my favorite coins. Think about it. Coins were meant to be spend and circulate. They each have a story or two to tell, no doubt.
Baley, How come these two Kennedys have tons more wear than yours, yet yours is over 150 years older?!
I dunno, I guess somehow my coin escaped being carried around for years and years in someone's pocket and used as a "fidget coin"? Or was it that my coin hasn't spent any time in a ROCK TUMBLER?!?
btw Pat, tell us again how many times your 1986 ASE in FR2 has been spent, and what was purchased with it?

I purchased it from Bowers & Merena a couple of years ago and had it holdered with ANACS (it has a ghost of a date and I knew that ANACS is the only Service that would take the time to look for it and not seven seconds and then determine, too quickly, it's a 'no date' and bodybag it). It was a pocket piece.
Now regarding the rock tumbler comment. I thought I had dispensed with this notion during a couple of Threads, such as This Thread where I offer stupid money for worthless coins (I had a larger reward for a PO01 Ike that went on, before this Kennedy offer, for six months with no takers...)? Anyone could have tumbled one of these Kennedys and had it holdered for the reward. Again, no one stepped up to claim their prize.
K6AZ---How do you figure that coin was used as a gear? A gear should have uniformly spaced notches around the perimeter. That coin just looks mutilated.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

That's how it was sold to me. The seller found it in an old piece of farm equipment.
Well, I thought you were baiting me with your question, and I didn't want to dissapoint you!
I still think it can be, and is, done (pcgs "market accpetable" artificial wear) and tell you what: I'm going to try for you. Still offering the bounty for the Ike and JFK? What years to you prefer? Any other coins you'd pay outrageous money for in PO1? May as well do them all together.
Aghhh....Don hate when some beats me to fixing my URL's! <grin> But....I added some more Copper pics.......perhaps I'll add some Gold and Silver later!
Craig If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
